Another reason to smile in Phuket

Great news for anyone who flies domestically but prefers a bit of comfort to the cramped, pay-for-everything budget airlines. Thai Smile Air, the new regional sub-brand of Thai Airways International, has announced a couple of new Phuket routes starting from next month.

Fancy a weekend in the capital? There will be a once daily round trip to Bangkok with fares starting from about 2,700 Baht one way. For a touch of culture in Chiang Mai, a one way flight from Phuket will start from around 4,000 Baht.

This price includes a 20kg baggage allowance and free in-flight snack. If you prefer to travel in style, there will be business class seats available too – 35kg baggage allowance, free light meal, access to the airport lounges and more.

With so many airlines now flying to Phuket from within Thailand and overseas, it’s never been easier to get here!
