What part of Thailand are you from?
I’m from North Thailand.
How long have you lived in Phuket?
20 years.
Why did you decide to teach Thai?
Because I love teaching.
How would you describe your teaching style?
I treat my students like they are my family or my friends.
What is the best thing about being a Thai language teacher?
I want all of my students to be successful and it makes me very happy to see and help them achieve this.
What do you like to do on your holidays and days off?
I like to watch TV and read books at home.
What is the best thing about living in Phuket?
The sea!
What are your recommendations for the following:
- Restaurant: Briley Khaao Man Gai (this restaurant is in a row of shops just behind the school)
- Thai food: Khaao Man Gai
- Where to watch the sunset: Promthep Cape
- Market: Naka Market (the weekend night market in town)
- Sightseeing: Thalang Road and Soi Romanee in Phuket Town (go on Sunday evenings when there is a walking street market)
