We were delighted to welcome Gabriela, one of our Study Thai Online students, to our language school in Patong last month.
Gabriela has been learning Thai for 2 years and it’s fantastic to see the huge progress she has made. As well as taking weekly lessons online via Skype, she occasionally visits Thailand, where she is able to take private lessons at Patong Language School and practice what she has learnt so far with her Thai friends and locals.
When it comes to learning a new language, it helps to have a goal. Gabriela works in Vienna as a tourist guide and with many Thai tour groups passing through the city each week, she set herself the goal of becoming the first guide to offer tours of Vienna in the Thai language.
International Tourist Guide Day provided her with the perfect opportunity to launch her Thai language tours and on February 24, Gabriela led her first group of Thai tourists around the streets of Vienna.
Patong Language School and Study Thai Online are proud to have helped Gabriela achieve her goal and we will continue to support her learning and understanding of the spoken and written Thai language.
