Today, 12 August, Thailand celebrates Her Majesty Queen Sirikit Kitiyakara’s 82nd birthday. HM Queen Sirikit is often called the Mother of the Nation, so it is very fitting that 12 August is also celebrated as National Mother’s Day.
Celebrations will take place at Saphan Hin tonight from 5pm, with a candlelight ceremony at 6.50pm.
Patong Language School would like to extend it’s congratulations and best wishes to HM the Queen on this special day.

Government offices, banks and some small businesses are closed today but shopping malls are open. PLS will be open from 09.00-19.00 as usual and all classes will run as scheduled.
