Who to call when you need help in Thailand

Thailand is a very safe place to get your first introduction to Asia, especially for the first-time traveler. It’s not a bad idea to carry a mobile phone around either, as pay-as-you-go plans are inexpensive, and coverage is excellent throughout the country. But, just like at home, it’s good to know the correct emergency phone number to call should you (or someone else) need it. Thailand has a special branch of English-speaking tourist tourist police, who are always available to assist you 24/7.

We ask all of our English, Thai, German, Japanese and TEFL students to keep these numbers on hand, so they can be prepared in case of an emergency. So, if you’re planning on attending a language course at Patong Language School, or thinking of getting your TEFL teacher certification at TEFLPlus, take note of these important phone numbers, and we hope that you have a safe trip!
