Finding the Phuket Immigration office

There are actually two Immigration offices in Phuket – one in Patong Beach and one in Phuket Town. They both do different things, so it’s important to know which office you need to go to and where to find them.

Which office should I use?

The Patong centre can only give extensions for tourist visas – if you need to extend your Non-Immigrant ED visa or any other type of visa you will need to go to Immigration in Phuket Town. Both centres can issue re-entry permits and process 90 Day Reports.

Where is the Immigration Office in Phuket Town located?

Where is the Immigration Office in Patong Beach located?

What are the opening hours?

The Phuket Town office is open from 08.30 until 16.30, with a break for lunch from 12.00-13.00. They don’t accept payments after 15.30, so it’s best to go early. If possible, you should try to avoid going on a Monday or Friday, as those are the busiest days which can mean long waiting times.

The Patong office is open from 10.00 until 15.00, with a break for lunch from 12.00-13.00.
